Coghlan earns all-state honor
Stephanie Coghlan, of Beckman, was recently named second-team all-state by the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association.

Coghlan, a sophomore for the Blazers, finished second at the Class 2A District Tournament at Fillmore Fairways and earned the right to advance to regionals. She missed advancing to the state tournament by a single stroke, shooting a 91 for sixth place.

Coghlan was inadvertently missed in the report in the July 14 Commercial that reported the all-state performers.
