The Dyersville Little League held it's annual baseball tournament on July 9-11, with teams from Dyersville, Dubuque, Farley, Manchester and White Bear Lake, Minn., competing.

The tournament consisted of four 8-and-under teams(8U), seven 10-and-under teams and nine 12-and-under teams.

Pool play for 8U was completed on July 9 with the Dyersville Cubs taking first place and the Dyersville White Sox taking second place. The Dyersville Brewers and Dyersville Pirates also competed in the division.

Pool play was concluded on Saturday for the 10U and 12U divisions and a seeded tournament followed on Sunday.

Heavy rains caused the tournament to be canceled and trophies were awarded to the highest seeded teams.

In the 10U division, first place went to the Dubuque Cubs and second place went to the Dyersville Rockies.

In the 12U division, the Dyersville White Sox finished first and second place went to the Dubuque Angels.
