Blazers prepare for new era with field turf

Workers put the finishing touches on the new multi-purpose Players Choice Turf at Beckman over the weekend. “We are excited about the completion of this field,” Beckman football coach Gregg Hammann said. “This field is one of the top playing surfaces in Iowa and the nation overall.” Over 150 adult and 200 student volunteers put their time into the project.
