Mailed to: Faxed to: Online Form: Guidelines Submission of a letter indicates the author's permission for publication in Dyersville Commercial print and/or Internet products as well as posting to fee-based archival services. Letters must be 350 words or less. All letters, including those within the length limit, are subject to abridgment and editing. A letter must include the author's street address (no post office box numbers) as well as daytime and evening telephone numbers. Addresses and phone numbers are not published. When authors write an an official capacity - representing governmental bodies, organizations or businesses - the institution's address is printed. In general, these letters are not accepted: "Thank-you" messages, letters that are not exclusive to the Dyersville Commercial, letters copied from Web sites or other sources, letters of a commercial nature, most poetry, personal attacks, extensive biblical citations and petitions. Because of the volume of submissions, the Dyersville Commercial does not acknowledge letters not selected for publication. All submissions, published or unpublished, remain the property of the Dyersville Commercial and are not returned. |
