I'm sad that when I ride through Iowa again there will be no toy store to stop and shop at, I was unable to visit this past summer due to my wife suffering a back injury and being unable to ride. I will miss not being able to stop at what my wife called the 'mecca' of toys. Good luck to all at Ever's and thank you for the memories! Steve

Very sad day when a store like Evers Toy Store has to close. Good luck to Paula in her next phase of life.

Now this is just so sad [sad]. Downtown will not be the same - thank you to the Evers family for reminding us that playing with toys is a good thing! You will be missed
