Epworth community meal gets donation

Volunteers who prepare a weekly community meal at the Epworth United Methodist Church received a check for $2,000 from Farm Credit Services of America. This is the second year that Farm Credit Services has implemented their program to combat hunger and aid nutrition. Last year, Farm Credit Services passed out about $250,000 in checks to like organizations in four states, according to Farm Credit Services representative Scott Funke.
