Authorities: Drug deal dispute leads to fight in Farley parking lot

A man and woman have both been arrested for disorderly conduct after authorities say the two engaged in a physical altercation after they couldn’t agree on a price for prescription pills.

Jonathan Lee Wolf, 35, of Farley, was arrested for disorderly conduct Sept. 13. Tiffany Lee Summers, 28, of Dubuque, was arrested for two counts of child endangerment, controlled substance violation and disorderly conduct Sept. 13.

According to court documents, authorities were alerted of a disturbance in an apartment parking lot located at 502 3rd Ave. SE in Farley at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sept 13.

Authorities say Wolf had arranged for Summers to deliver him 20 Xanax pills and after an argument ensued over the price, a fight broke out. Documents state both Summers and Wolf sustained injuries from the bout.

Summers admitted to police she intended to sell Wolf the pills, stating she thought it was a better idea to sell the pills to make money rather than shoplift in order to take her children out for dinner.

Court documents state that two of Summers’ children were in the backseat of her car during the drug transaction and altercation.
