Authorities: Sherrill Woman bites man’s face during assault

Authorities say a Sherrill woman is facing multiple charges after she assaulted a man multiple times, including biting him on the chin, during an attempted child visitation.

Kami Jo Adolf, 32, of Sherrill, was arrested for domestic abuse assault, burglary first degree, criminal mischief third-degree, child endangerment, interference with official acts and obstruction of emergency communications following the incident.

According to court documents, authorities say they were dispatched for a physical disturbance on the 5000 block of Sherrill Road Jan. 29 at approximately 8 p.m.

The victim told authorities he had come to the residence for a child custody visitation when he was assaulted by Adolf, documents state.

After the man entered the residence, court documents state Adolf struck the man in the face several times while in the presence of the child.

Documents state the man left the residence and attempted to communicate to Adolf to give the child to him through text messages, at which point Adolf came outside and caused another disturbance.

The man got inside his vehicle to avoid Adolf, at which point she took a brick and struck the vehicle multiple times, documents state, causing between $750 and $1,500 in damages.

As Adolf was striking the vehicle, the man called 911 and locked his doors, an affidavit states. He then rolled down one of his windows to record Adolf when Adolf reached inside the window and unlocked the car door.

Documents state Adolf then entered the vehicle and got on top of the man, where she proceeded to bite him on the chin and strike him in the face. Authorities say Adolf was able to get the man’s phone during the altercation, causing him to lose contact with emergency communications.

Adolf physically resisted three deputies while they were attempting to detain her, documents state.

Adolf has a Jan. 27 arraignment hearing according to online court records.
