A fire inside Paladin in Delhi evacuated the south part of the manufacturing facility and called out firefighters shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24.

Iowa’s cattle producers are asking their fellow Iowans to help find Iowa’s Best Burger in 2016. In this year’s quest, the Iowa Beef Industry Council (IBIC) and the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association (ICA) are encouraging you to nominate your favorite burger, whether it’s gourmet or down-home style.

Goerdt Realty has merged with RE/MAX and moved to 117 Third Street SE. Diane Goerdt said RE/MAX was in need of a branch office in Dyersville and approached her last month about the merger.

Community Financial Corp., the parent company of Community Savings Bank, has acquired Linn County State Bank. This acquisition marks another milestone for Community Savings Bank, as it recently completed a merger with Garnavillo Savings Bank in November of 2015.
