Delhi fire department receives federal funding to replace truck

Delhi Volunteer Fire Department has received $137,000 in federal funding.

The funding includes a $37,000 Rural Development grant and a $100,000 loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The monies will be used to purchase new public safety equipment and replace a 20-year-old fire truck, according to a press release from U.S. Rep. Abby Finkenauer, D-Dubuque.
