Fittingly announced by the Dyersville Area Chamber of Commerce on Manufacturing Day, a trio of businesses have declared they are making significant investments in Dyersville.

Higley Industries, a company known for its cleaning products, will be relocating to Dyersville’s 20 West Industrial Park, where it will make its new home in the Dardis building at 2330 Industrial Parkway.

Lance Hummel, President of Higley Industries, said he is excited to have found a community where the company can grow and build strong partnerships.

“It is exciting to be under one roof in a space where we can continue to grow the company,” Hummel said in a press release. “We are also anxious to provide a solid compensation package and a safe, inspiring work environment to grow our Higley family of employees.”

Higley Industries also intends to continue building its “Corporate Social Responsibility” to collaborate with other business partners to make positive impacts wherever its products are sold.

“We look forward to reaching out to community and business partners to introduce ourselves and learn how we can support locally,” Hummel said.

Also relocating to the industrial park is Ancient Brands Milling, LLC., who announced the purchase of the grain puffing and blending assets formerly owned by The Andersons, Inc.

“Ancient Brands Milling is excited to be entering into this next chapter in our company’s history,” Patrick Hemminger, president, stated in a press release on its website. “We are eager to begin working with the skilled and energized team members in Dyersville to continue to be a customer-centric vendor partner, providing innovative products, strong food safety and unsurpassed service, quality and consistency. Ancient Brands Milling is uniquely equipped to add innovative value to plant-based product applications with our portfolio of grain and legume-based whole puffs and pre-gelatinized powders. This recent evolution is a big step for us as we assert ourselves as a leading provider of functional, micro-reduced ingredients for plant-based applications.”

And finally, Advanced Properties, LLC., has announced it will begin construction on another building in the 20 West Industrial Park.

Advanced Properties said that opportunities will abound in the “state of the art,” 52,000 square foot concrete panel facility.

The new facility will feature architectural concrete walls, customizable interior space and easy access and visibility from US 20.
