The Beckman Catholic Written Communications team welcomes thirteen new members, doubling in size from the beginning of the school year. This crew of new members is very excited to join the Communications team and write about everything going on at Beckman.

The new female members include: Evelyn Sadler, Stephanie Cortes, Gracie Hinerichsen, Elyse White and Julia Mertz. They aspire to acquire better writing skills which will be applied in the years to come. White says she wants to “stay active and assist the school community.”

Sadler stated that she hopes to get more involved. Cortes hopes to “share news… through creative writing.” Hinerichsen is excited that her writing will be “published in the Dyersville Commercial for people to read.” Mertz looks forward to becoming a better writer and “connecting with others along the way.”

The new male members of the team include: Mason Koelker, Garrett Stelken, Nick Wulfekuhle, Levi Koopman, Sage Klostermann, Evan Domeyer, Trent Arens and Easton Koelker. This group is thrilled to become better writers and photographers.

Mason Koelker, Koopman and Klostermann are all thinking about graduating early, so doubling up on their English classes now will offer them this opportunity in the future. Domeyer looks forward to getting to work on the yearbook. Stelken is excited for the challenge this fun class represents. Easton Koelker stated that he’s eager to “learn more about [his] classmates.”

Overall, the Beckman Catholic Written Communications team has a lot of potential for this semester, especially with all the new members. This class will be a good way to help the students stay involved and build connections with one another. There is a lot to be achieved but with all the extra help the job will be completed and done well. The team is excited to start working and to see their success in the end.
