A lot can change in a year. March 2021 has many differences compared to March 2020. A year ago, shut down orders were issued and mask wearing quickly followed. One year later, we explore some of the changes we’ve encountered.
One of the biggest changes is the prevalence of wearing masks. In March 2020, very few Iowans were wearing a mask, and obviously, that has changed drastically. We have adapted to other changes as well. For example, a year ago, basically everything was shutting down. We faced lockdown and many decided to stay home.
A year later we’re accepting the new “normal” of wearing a mask, social distancing, and sanitizing more than ever. A lot can change in the course of a year, but we are adapting to our new sense of normalcy.
