Delaware County Supervisors accepted a bid for a storage garage at the future site of the new sheriff’s office and jail and set dates for bids on the new sheriff’s facility.
Supervisors accepted a bid from Delhi Lumber for $60,292 for lumber and labor from Hammer Time Concrete for the 60 feet by 40 feet storage garage. In addition, the supervisors accepted a bid of $20,360 from Hammer Time Concrete for concrete work on the garage and $3,000 for electrical work from Al Cook Electric.
Supervisors also set Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 1:15 p.m. for a pre-bid letting meeting at the supervisors’ office.
Bids for work on the sheriff’s office and jail will be received until Thursday, Nov. 21 at 3:30 p.m. with supervisors reviewing the bids at 3:35 p.m. in the supervisors’ office.
The supervisors accepted a bid of $32,211.27 from Bob Stephen Motors in Manchester for a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 half-ton four-wheel drive crew cab pickup. The truck will be used by the secondary roads department.
