Genevieve Lee (Link) Nadermann “Jen”, 83, of Aurora, Colo., passed away at the Medical Center of Aurora Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021.

Services will be held at a later date.

Jen was born in Dyersville, Nov. 19, 1937. She was baptized and confirmed at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier. She graduated from Xavier Grade School and High School. She attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, and the University of Dubuque. She taught many years for Western Dubuque School District. Her calling was to be a compassionate teacher like her mother and grandmother. Jen was a very positive and upbeat person. She would always say “My glass is 1/2 full”. She made the world a better place by her kindness, strong faith and daily prayers. Her hobbies were reading, quilting and spending time with family.

Jen was married to Robert (Bob) Nov. 27, 1958 at the Basilica in Dyersville. Their bond created three children, Natalie (Dan) Goldsmith, Don and Dan (Jonathan) all of Aurora, Colo. Jen had a special love for her six grandchildren: Chad, Corey, Kristi, Michael, Karisa and Blair. Her pride extended to her nine great grandchildren: Gavyn, Lilly, Stella, Kyra, Nora, Shawn, Drake, Kendra and Mikayla.

Jen is survived by her three children; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Sheila (Tim Murphy) of Caledonia, Minn.; brother Wally Link (Kathy), of Dyersville. She is further survived by Bob’s brothers Jim and Tom Nadermann; sisters Germaine and Bernice and many nieces and nephews.

Jen was predeceased by her husband Bob; sister Beverly and brother-in-law Jack.
