I just want to acknowledge Dyersville for the great small town that it is.

While visiting and helping my mom with errands, I was met multiple times with kindness in both words and actions. While shopping at Hartigs and Fareway, without being asked, workers at each store made it a point to guide me to what it was I was looking for.

I was also greeted with friendliness and helpfulness in a quick drive through at Dupaco. That afternoon my mom had an appointment at The Hair Pantry, where they kindly adjusted their schedule and fit her in. Meanwhile, I had called the library, and with little guidance on my end as to what she might like, I asked if they could just pull some books for her. They were glad to do that and even called me right back to see if I thought the titles they had were something she’d like.

All of this within a few short hours and everyone wearing masks, which to me also says a lot about your commitment to your job and the public. Thank you! I just wanted you all to know your kindness and genuine friendliness did not go unnoticed that day.
