It’s not a major news flash when we say 2020 is over and it was not a happy year. But it reminded me of a saying I once read, “When life sends you scraps, make a quilt.”

That’s what we did, working even harder and sending out more hand-crafted items than ever before, in spite of the added challenge of the pandemic. It also reminds me of another saying, “It takes a village,” and I am glad we live in this one. Your help and support have been an inspiration. We are so grateful. Thank you ever so much.

I’ll end with another phrase taken from a movie we all know, “Is this Heaven? No, it’s Iowa.” We ask God’s blessings of good health, happiness, wisdom, understanding and a continued opportunity to serve others as we tackle 2021 together.
