Jennifer Engler and Craig Borchers, both of Mt. Pleasant, Wis. were married July 13 at 3:30 p.m. at the Grand River Center by the Rev. Jess Farlow. A reception followed at the Grand River Center.

Parents of the couple are Bill and Judy Engler, of Dyersville and Bart and Nancy Borchers, of Bristol, Wis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Bill Engler.

The bride wore an ivory lace fit and flare gown with cap sleeves, a keyhole back and long lace train.

Maid of honor was Lisa Engler, of Oakland, Calif., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cassidy Smith, of Lockport, Ill., friend of the bride; Krista Murphy, of Cedar Rapids and Kelli Kuker, of Nashua, both cousins of the bride; Kelly Chesnik, of Madison, Wis. and Mary Jo Halder, of Washington, D.C., both friends of the bride.

The bridesmaids wore long strapless plum gowns with a sweetheart neckline and silver necklaces.

Best men were Brian Borchers, of Tampa, Fla. and David Borchers, of Paddock Lake, Wis., both brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Eric Mumbower, of Grayslake, Ill., Ben Lewis, of Las Vegas, Nev., Jason Bettinger, Loves Park, Ill., and Brian Block, all friends of the groom.

The flower arrangements were all created by the mother of the groom, Nancy Borchers, who is the owner of Oella’s Flower Shop.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and is a second-grade teacher in Franklin, Wis.

Craig is a graduate of Rock Valley College and is an aircraft mechanic in Kenosha, Wis.

The couple honeymooned in Boston, Mass. and Boothbay, Maine
