Olivia Gibbs and Elliot Salter, Dyersville, were married July 8, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier. The Rev. Dennis Quint and Deacon Wayne Biever presided. Music was provided by Casey McCarraher and Nick Schadler.

Parents of the couple are Jim and Cathy Gibbs and Steve and Ann Salter, all of Dyersville.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matron of honor was Lauren Kelly, of Cedar Rapids and maid of honor was Hannah Gibbs, of Chicago, Ill., both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Heidi Hingtgen, of Waukesha, Wis., Hannah Hingtgen, of Dubuque; Marissa Driscoll, of Des Moines, all friends of the couple; and Ellyse Ungs, of Dyersville, sister of the groom.

Personal attendants were Taylor Theisen, of Dyersville, friend of the couple and Liz Wilson, of Tucson, Ariz., sister of the groom.

Flower girl was Stella Kelly, of Cedar Rapids, goddaughter of the bride.

Best men were Nick Axtman, of West Des Moines, brother of the groom and Patrick Meade, of Dyersville, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Sam Lehmann, of Rochester, Minn. and Kyle Bell, of Hopkinton, friends of the couple; Steve Wilson, of Tucson, Ariz. and Matt Ungs, of Dyersville, brothers-in-law of the groom. Ring bearer was Noah Axtman, of West Des Moines, nephew of the groom.

Ushers were Troy Heims, of Davenport, Nick Hoefler, of Dubuque and Jared Brunsmann, of Dyersville.

A reception was at the Worthington Memorial Hall with music by Blue Water Kings Band, Chicago, Ill.

Olivia is a 2016 graduate of the University of Iowa in Health and Human Physiology. She is currently a student in the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Dubuque, graduating in 2018.

Elliot is a 2015 graduate of Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. He is a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, in Dyersville.

They honeymooned in Galena, Ill. and reside in Dyersville.
