Kristi Bonert and Cory Donlon were married on June 4, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Petersburg, by the Rev. John O’Connor. Music was provided by Michele Westhoff and Hope Brown. The reception was at the Clayton County Fairgrounds, National.
Parents of the couple are Sharon and the late Ron Bonert, of Petersburg and Tim and Lisa Donlon, of Monona.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother, Sharon Bonert.
Maid of honor was Kelli Bonert, of Petersburg. Bridesmaids were Liz Weber, of Bellevue; Emily Ownby, of Independence; Hilary Davis, of Lowden and Allison Kloser, of Earlville. Personal attendants were Amanda Donlon, Monona and Kayla Bonert, of New Vienna. Best Man was Kelby Moose, of Volney. Groomsmen were Collin Thompson and Lance Donlon, of Monona; Kirk Moser, of Colesburg; and Jacob Bonert, of Petersburg. Ushers were Mark Donlon, of Monona; Zach Nefzger, of Dyersville and Keefe Williams, of Waterloo.
Kristi is a 2011 Maquoketa Valley and 2015 Mount Mercy graduate. She received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and is employed as a first grade teacher at Starmont Community School District.
Cory is a 2010 MFL Mar-Mac and 2012 Southwest Technical College, Fennimore, Wis. graduate. He received a degree in Agri-business/Technology and is employed as a farmer and semi driver.
