Western Dubuque’s girls’ bowling team knocked off all comers at the Cedar Falls triangular, Dec. 18, at Cadillac Lanes. the Bobcats’ 2,922 topped both the host school and Vinton-Shellsburg.

Sara Horsfield and Sam Neuses knotted at the top with 456. Horsfield put together lines of 253-203 and Neuses rolled 199-257. Neuses’ game of 257 puts her at fifth overall in girls scores for the season, while Horsfield’s 265 of past weeks has her tied for second overall with teammate Hannah Kluesner. Kirsten Butcher was next with 405 (156-249), followed by Baylee Neyens 359 (182-177), Brooklyn Neyens 336 (148-188) and Ceci Daly 328 (169-159).

Their baker scores included 157, 178, 193, 200, 182 for a 910 total.

The boys were second overall. Their 3,113 total was less than 100 pins behind Cedar Falls, at 3,210. V-S rolled 2,896.

Alec Nadermann paced the squad with 441 (196-245), followed by Nolan Vaske at 434 (220-214), Nick Sweeney 405 (182-223), Jude Ludwig 399 (177-222), Jacob Butcher 375 (215-160) and Ben Heiberger 365 (172-193).

Baker scores were 280, 181, 185, 187, 226 for a 1,059 total.
