Students from the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastics excelled at the USTA Power Tumbling meet in Boone, Jan. 26. There were 18 teams entered with around 300 athletes competing throughout the day.

Moser’s place finishers were: first — Megan Pierschbacher, Laura Pierschbacher, Ella Digmann, Jayda Evan, Madilyn Payne, Lainey Payne, Carlee Batterson, Canaan Corcoran, Kena Johnson and Bailey Magnuson; second — Annie Gulick, Reagan Dolan, Kennedi Bevans, Vivian Clar, Adalyn Ostrander, Griffan Ostrander, Alyvia Snavely and Matilda Kuhlman; third — Georgia Werger, Destiny Barnhart, Jessica Kracke, Ruby West, Adalyn Fette and Makenna Behrends; fourth — Kendall Wagner, Avery Fette and Kaja Johnson; fifth — Aaliyah Corcoran and Kadee Batterson; sixth — Jewell Hemry, Dagny Kuhlman, Makenna Payne and Alexa Popenhagen; seventh — Katie Lueck.

The Moser School is coached by Carmen Moser Payne, of Edgewood, Debbie Moser, of Dyersville, Bernita Moser, Kattie Payne Schulte and Luka Marie Schulte, of Strawberry Point.

“It was a really well organized, on time, great confidence builder meet. Moser athletes will continue to train and work hard to achieve to the best of their ability for the upcoming meets,” the coaches said.

“We are so appreciative of our very loyal, hard-working, and dedicated Moser Team members and their families, sub-beginners through elite levels,” they added.
