MV honors Moenck for 300 wins
Maquoketa Valley’s Scot Moenck receives a commemorative plaque and hug from his daughter Izabella for his 300th career win as a girls’ basketball coach. He accomplished the feat against Alburnett and the plaque was awarded after the Wildcats’ win over East Buchanan, Jan. 19. She also presented him a t-shirt remembering his mother Marge Burgess who passed away last March. She was a huge Maquoketa Valley basketball fan never missing a game.
