Swimmer sets new record

Molly Snyder, of Dyersville, broke a Dubuque Dolphins record for swimmers aged 11-12 at the virtual meet held in Dubuque, Dec. 13. She swam 2:40.35 in the 200 backstroke to break the 2:44.79 record from 2015 held by Claire Wedewer. This is Snyder’s third individual record. She holds the eight-and-under 50 backstroke record and the 200 IM (individual medley) 9-10 age group record as well. She is also part of three relay records (two as eight and under and one in the 9-10 age group).
